Cocoa and Puff are our beloved kinkajous, each with a unique story. Cocoa joined our family at just 6 weeks old, while Puff became a part of our lives at the age of 10 weeks. They share a deep bond that is truly heartwarming. In their natural habitat, kinkajous they can be found in the Southeastern Portions of Mexico all the way through the Central American and Amazonian Rainforest to the bottom of Brazil. Despite their carnivorous classification due to their canine teeth, kinkajous primarily follow a frugivorous diet. Our furry friends indulge in approximately 4 pounds of fruit and produce daily to stay healthy and happy. Some fascinating features of kinkajous is their prehensile tail, which they skillfully use as an extra limb. Additionally, their hind feet have the remarkable ability to rotate 180 degrees, making it effortless for them to hang upside down with ease, and finally their tongue, it's about five inches long and can reach inside of beehives and flowers for honey or nectar. Kinkajous have a MAJOR sweet tooth!
